Born in 1962 in Basel, Switzerland. Has worked for 24 years as a professional guitarist on stage and in the studio. He has made a name for himself as an author of successful books for guitar in Germany and in the USA. Although his album “laid-back” (2008) won him acclaim as a sensitive, multilingual singer-songwriter, his true talent remains the slide guitar, for his famous bottleneck is also the perfect link to Blues: his book “Masters of Blues Guitar” was honoured with the German Music Edition Prize Best Edition 2011; he won the Swiss Blues Award 2013 for his two CDs “Howlin' with the bad boys” and “Still howlin' – live.”

Geboren 1962 in Basel, Schweiz. Arbeitet seit 24 Jahren als professioneller Gitarrist auf der Bühne und im Studio. Er hat sich in Deutschland wie in den USA als Autor erfolgreicher Gitarren-Sachbücher einen Namen gemacht. Spätestens seit seinem Album «laid-back» (2008) schätzt man den Luzerner auch als feinfühligen und mehrsprachigen Singer/Songwriter, doch sein grösster Joker bleibt die Slide-Gitarre. Sein geliebter «Bottleneck» ist denn auch das perfekte Bindeglied zum Blues: Sein Buch «Masters of Blues Guitar» gewann den Deutschen Musikeditionspreis «Best Edition 2011», für seine beiden CDs «Howlin' with the bad boys» und «Still howlin' – live» erhielt er den Swiss Blues Award 2013.

Il s'est également bâti une réputation solide en Allemagne ainsi qu'aux États-Unis en tant qu'auteur de livres spécialisés relatifs à la guitare. Au plus tard depuis son album «laid-back» (2008), on estime le Lucernois également en tant que chanteur / auteur-compositeur sensible et multilingue, mais son plus grand atout reste la slide guitare. Son «Bottleneck» chéri est donc aussi le lien parfait avec le blues: Son livre «Masters of Blues Guitar» a remporté le prix d'édition musicale allemand «Best Edition 2011», pour ses deux für CDs «Howlin' with the bad boys» et «Still howlin' – live», il a reçu le Swiss Blues Award 2013.
