Michèle est abandonnée par son ami et déménage dans un autre village, où elle ouvre un magasin de vêtements, ce qui lui permet de reprendre pied. Elle fait la connaissance de Lena. Dans un premier temps, Michèle est incapable de répondre à l’amour de Lena car elle souhaite fonder une famille et avoir des enfants. Mais ses sentiments pour Lena grandissent. Elles tentent une relation – et font leur «coming out».
