Un photographe fait une série de portraits de réfugiés vivant en Suisse. Une journaliste écrit un article critique sur ces photographies, qui lui vaut des compliments, mais le chef de la rédaction affirme qu’elle a agi par opportunisme, comme le photographe. La journaliste démissionne et entame une carrière dans une agence. Quand la direction cherche un photographe et portraitiste de renom, elle sait saisir sa chance.
