Infatigable champion d'une vision nuancée de l'Afrique, il s'est engagé dans l'action ces dernières années, voulant joindre le geste à la parole. Il a construit une école primaire pour les enfants du bidonville de Kawangware, à la périphérie de Nairobi. En 2006, il a lancé en trois mois le journal «Organic Farmer», destiné aux petits paysans. Peter Baumgartner est notre guide de voyage. Il nous conduit à travers les différentes strates de la société nigériane.
