Le film montre comment les élèves de la Scuola Vivante se préparent à un concert avec Jordi Savall et son ensemble, qui rassemble onze différentes nations: ils lui posent, à lui et à ses musiciens, les questions qui les préoccupent. Cette réflexion commune crée des liens. Un mois après le concert, un voyage de découverte conduit les jeunes à l’«école vivante» amie du Haut Atlas marocain. Ils pénètrent dans l’inconnu et se laissent émouvoir par cette partie du monde qui trouve son expression musicale dans le concert.
