Jean voudrait fuir son village de montagne et sa vie. Il déverse sa frustration et sa tristesse sur sa femme et son fils Marc. Dans un moment de colère il abandonne Marc au bord d'une route. L'âme d'une belle jeune femme condamnée à errer dans la foret aide Marc et saisit cette occasion pour prendre contact avec Jean et lui demander secours...
