Alice est une jeune fille dont la vie avance à toute vitesse: nouvelle fac, nouveau copain. Pour fuir l’agitation de son quotidien, elle aime se réfugier près d’une rivière où elle retrouve un jeune garçon, son premier amour, décédé il y a cinq ans. Bientôt, le passeur reviendra pour emmener le garçon de l’autre côté, mais ni lui ni Alice ne sont prêts à se quitter. Pourtant, alors que l’heure approche, leur relation se complique inévitablement.
