Le groupe afro-helvétique King Kora et ses 10 griots part pour une tournée de deux semaines à travers le pays natal de son joueur de kora et chanteur, Lamin Jobarteh, en Gambie. La tournée est constituée par un voyage de 9 jours sur le fleuve Gambie, avec 8 concerts dans des villages et des villes riverains du fleuve et 3 concerts dans des clubs, sur la côte. Mais ce que les musiciens découvrent en Gambie ne correspond pas toujours à leurs attentes…
