Gabriel est introverti, sensible - et amoureux de son grand frère, Samuel. La vie et les amis de ce dernier sont bruyants et engageants. Et lorsque la nuit est trop calme, il va dans la pièce voisine, chez Gabriel. Lorsque l'intimité émotionnelle devient de plus en plus palpable, les deux tentent sans succès de créer une distance. La tension menace d'éclater lorsque l'un des frères mentionne qu'il va partir à l'étranger pour ses études.
