Un des acteurs de la troupe théâtrale PENG! Palast souhaite abandonner leur nouveau projet sur les héros. Dans sa famille il n’y avait pas de héros, il y avait au contraire un criminel nazi (semble-t-il). Peu enthousiasmée à l’idée d’interrompre le spectacle, la direction du théâtre propose une alternative et prend contact avec un collectif israélien. Arrivés à Jérusalem, les comédiens s’aperçoivent trop tardivement que le groupe israélien ne fait pas de théâtre mais de la danse. Les participants s’empêtrent toujours plus dans les préjugés, jusqu’au moment où survient la pire catastrophe.
