Un jeune couple d'amoureux quitte son domicile pour aller souper au restaurant. En route, la femme s'écrase contre un arbre. La dernière pomme encore accrochée à l'arbre heurte sa tête en tombant. Impitoyablement, la femme la jette au loin, mais la pomme, qui vient de s'éveiller à la vie, ne se laisse pas faire…
