Born in 1981 in Bern, Switzerland. She trained as primary school teacher. In 2009 she graduated with a Bachelor in Theatre and Film from the Universities of Bern and Zurich. She attended film courses at KAF (Klasse Autodidaktischer FilmerInnen) and at the Schule für Gestaltung Bern. In 2016 she completed a Master in Directing Documentary at NFTS (National Film and Television School) in Beaconsfield. Since 2016 she works as a freelance director and cinematographer.
