Born 1988 in Solothurn, Switzerland. Dimitra Charamandas is a Swiss-Greek visual artist living and working between Solothurn and Athens. Her practice foregrounds the sensory and the tactile and encompasses painting, video, text, sculpture, and community gatherings around shared meals. She completed a MA Fine Arts at Institute Art Gender Nature Basel in 2022. The short film SUN BURN (Greece) was made in international collaboration. Since 2018 she is part of Quince Collective and Espacio Pacha.
