Marcus Signer

Actor

Born in 1964 in Bern, Switzerland. 1982-86 completed his training as an actor and animator at the “Theaterwerkstatt 1230” in Bern and was a permanent member of the ensemble until 1992. Following his stay in New York as artist-in-residence, he worked as an independent actor. He has performed at Stadttheater Bern, at Club 111 and at Insitu Chur, among others. Apart from his work in the theatre, Marcus Signer has also performed in a number of film and television productions, collaborated in numerous radio plays and narrated advertising spots. 2014 receives Swiss Film Award as Best Actor in DER GOALIE BIN IG, by Sabine Boss.
