Laura Gönczy

Born in 1994 in New York, United States. She is an independent filmmaker of Swiss and Italian nationality who grew up in Lausanne. She studied medicine in Lausanne (Bachelor's degree, 2015) then in Berne (Master's degree, 2019). At the same time, she writes short fiction and develops video projects within the multidisciplinary artistic collective MALM and the association Huit Pouces. Since 2021, she has been based between Berlin and Lausanne and devotes herself to screenwriting and directing fiction films while working as an editor and assistant director.
