She was born in Switzerland in 1972 and studied journalism in the USA. Since 1999, she and her husband have supported humanitarian work in the field of education and healthcare through their foundation “Second Mile”. Her directorial debut THAT GIRL combines her long standing humanitarian commitment with her passion for journalism and documentary film. For this, she founded her own production company, CG Productions GmbH. Cornelia Gantner is the mother of five adult children.
