Born in 1978 in Asuncion, Paraguay. She produced 18 AND A HALF CIGARETTES (2011). She directed the feature documentary EL TIEMPO NUBLADO (2014) awarded the Regard Neuf for Best First Film at Visions du Réel. In 2016, the film was the first Paraguayan entry ever to the Oscars. Her second feature documentary APENAS EL SOL (2020) was the Opening Film at IDFA in 2020 and also represented Paraguay at the Oscars (2021) in two categories: International Feature and Documentary Feature. 2021 it was nominated for the IDA Awards (USA) and in 2022 for the Swiss Film Award. The film received a FIPRESCI PRIZE, among other 14 international awards. Ullón is currently developing her third feature documentary: CALL ME WHEN THE WIND BLOWS.
