Viennale - JLG Lifetime Achievement

Switzerland invites Europe: This year, Lucerne is host to the European Film Awards. Throughout the year, SWISS FILMS is partnering with various European film festivals to present films and coproductions from Switzerland that have been nominated for or have won a European Film Award.

VIENNALE will honour the late Jean-Luc Godard by screening ADIEU AU LANGAGE as well as the last two short films presented last May in Cannes, SCENARIO and EXPOSE DU FILM ANNONCE DU FILM «SCÉNARIO». Jean-Luc Godard was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the European Film Academy in 2007.

Swiss filmmaker and producer Fabrice Aragno who was Godard's principal collaborator in his final era of artmaking, will travel to Vienna to introduce the films and participate in a talk around Godard's work.
