Porto Femme - International Film Festival - 9th edition

Porto Femme is inviting Switzerland as Guest Country for this year's new edition of the Festival, aiming to give a voice to women and non-binary people through cinema.

Elene Naveriani will be present in Porto as a Jury member, also giving a talk at the Catolica University and introducing the screening of BLACKBIRD BLACKBIRD BLACKBERRY, their latest film.
They will also take part in the talk The Road to 50/50 – The Situation of Women Working in Cinema and Audiovisual

Elena Tatti, producer of SILENT REBELLION - presented in the Official Competition - will also be attending and taking part in the Industry's Barbaras Meetings - Go Barbaras - Pitch That!.

Also in competition is the film NAIMA by Anna Thomen, presented in the International Documentary Competition.

Finally, four films are also invited in the various short films competition, among them YONNE by Julietta Korbel and Yan Ciszewski, winner of the Best Short Film award at the Swiss Film Awards 2026, and QUI PART A LA CHASSE by Léa Favre, winner of the Best Graduation Film award at the Swiss Film Awards 2026.
