Philippe Pellaud, also known as Kid Chocolat, is a Swiss electro musician and producer from Geneva born in 1974. He is also the founder of Poor Records and PREC Publishing. Kid Chocolat loves the cinema, quotes from the soundtracks of John Barry, Ennio Morricone and Henry Mancini, retro sounds and sampling dialogue. He also created the Poor Records label (Love Motel or POL), came up with a tribute compilation to Stephan Eicher's new wave beginnings under the name Grauzone, launched another compilation in reference to the very short
format (Amazon Grace1), signed the soundtrack to the film Super 8 by video artist Pascal Greco and collaborates regularly with Asia Argento.
