Eva leidet an heftigem Stottern. Sie kann nur mit grosser Mühe sprechen und zieht es deshalb vor, gar nichts zu sagen. Zufällig erlebt Eva aus nächster Nähe, wie Suzy bei einem Verkehrsunfall verunglückt. Nachdem Suzy in ihren Armen stirbt, steckt Eva wie in Trance ihr Handy ein. Damit beginnt eine Geschichte, deren einzige Gewissheit ist, dass nichts so kommt, wie man es erwartet.
