Alphons ist auf dem Weg zu seinem Selbstmord. Die Anhalterin Marla stoppt ihn und besteht darauf, mitgenommen zu werden. Als sie merkt was er vorhat und wieso, beginnt eine sonderbare Schicksalsgemeinschaft.
Alphons è al volante con l’intenzione di suicidarsi ma viene fermato da un’autostoppista. La donna, in fuga da una noiosa vita di madre di famiglia, insiste perché le dia un passaggio.
