Eléonore arbeitet als Kellnerin an einer Autobahnraststätte in den französischen Alpen. Eines Tages kommt ihr Ex-Freund auf der Durchreise vorbei und fordert sie auf, mit ihm in ein neues, ungebundenes Leben aufzubrechen. Eléonore, inzwischen mit einem anderen Mann zusammen, steht vor einer schwierigen Entscheidung.
