Der Rentner Michel verbringt seine Tage in seiner Garage, die seine zweite Heimat ist. Als Fan von Johnny Hallyday, Western und Motorrädern, scheint er in der Pubertät stecken geblieben zu sein. Michel ist er der Ersatzgrossvater des Regisseurs. Er besucht ihn, um ihm Fragen zu Freiheit, Alkohol oder auch das Erbe zu stellen.
