Choucroute ist alleine und langweilt sich. Die hungrige Ente Canard fliegt über ihn hinweg. Choucroute ist bezaubert von Canard. Er sieht in Canard ein Heilmittel, um seiner Einsamkeit abzuhelfen, Canard aber sieht in Choucroute eine Mahlzeit. Die Angst vor der Einsamkeit bewegt Choucroute dazu, sich Canard zu nähern. Der Hunger bewegt Canard dazu, sich Choucroute zu nähern. Beide Figuren erleben gemeinsam ein lustiges und zugleich grausames Abenteuer, das böse enden wird.
