Ein autobiografischer Dokumentarfilm, basierend auf der Korrespondenz zweier kubanischer Filmemacherinnen. Seit ihrer Kindheit sind Patricia und Heidi befreundet. Ihre Emigration nach Europa trennt sie für 15 Jahre. Der Film ist eine emotionale und intime Reise und erzählt über Freundschaft, Mutterschaft und überwundene Grenzen. Ihre Geschichte widerspiegelt die Herausforderungen, Wurzeln und Lebenswege einer ganzen Generation.
