Der Student Amar arbeitet seit Kurzem in einem Call-Center und führt Telefonbefragungen bei Schweizer Haushalten durch. Die Fragen, die er stellen muss, und die zuweilen beunruhigenden Antworten seiner Gesprächspartner verleiten ihn dazu, sich Gedanken über seine eigene Identität zu machen.
